Meet the stop motion director and animator, Aghil Hosseinian!

Aghil was born in 1990 in Mashhad, Iran. He has studied graphic design all throughout his high school till his master’s degree.

It’s been over 10 years since he has entered the wonderful world of stop motion and since then he has partnered with different brands.

He is fascinated with animating all sorts of objects and materials; Absolutely anything can spark a stop motion idea. He can make a can of coke come to life and jump around in joy, or a piece of playdough smile, or even an iron nail shiver with fear!

For Aghil, stop motion is much more than a job or a simple hobby. To him, stop motion means life itself; A life full of excitement, experiment, and joy.
He doesn’t find much fulfillment in repeating the same experiences and is always on the lookout for new challenges and new solutions.

Aghil started teaching at the Tehran University of Art in 2019, And it was in the same year that he established his own studio “565 factory” alongside his business partner and friend, Sogol Sanagoo.
In the past year, one of his stop motion creations has been selected as part of the “best advertising film” category in the Annecy International Animation Festival (France – 2020).
